Here at our riding school in Mansfield, we have people of all abilities visit us for tuition. We have visitors of all ages come to us; each one welcomed and encouraged to embrace the outdoors and the experience.
Children’s and group lessons are available to our visitors and we are also able to help people complete their Association of British Riding School exams should they be ready to take them. We can offer a wide range or horse riding lessons that includes:
- Cross Country
- Riding Holidays
As well as these, we also offer more standard and basic riding lessons for those who just want to learn and ride at a leisurely pace. We regularly train riders for cross country, taking them to different courses to practise what they have learned out in the open.
We also provide hacking courses throughout Sherwood Forest, an ideal treat for those who wish to enjoy riding in the countryside, away from cars and the roads. Hourly bookings are available, as well as longer if requested. With our hacking sessions you will get a trained member of staff who will ride with you and guide you around the wonderful countryside that Sherwood Forest has to offer.
Showjumping clinics are also available up to the highest of standards where we can also take clients to shows and competitions. Beginner’s lessons are available weekly as well as more advanced lessons for those who are a little more experienced. For visits away from our equestrian centre where visitors own their own horse, transport is provided for your convenience.
We are happy to provide a livery service, keeping your horse safe and well within our stables. People who use this facility are able to use our indoor and outdoor school any day that we are open. All horses who are kept with us are well taken care of by our experienced and professional staff so you can trust in us to keep your horse in the best possible condition.
Our riding school also has a pony club that is ideal for those wishing to ride and socialise with others in our fully licensed bar on a regular basis, or perhaps enjoy a meal. It’s a great way of making new friends as well as having an enjoyable riding session.
To enquire about any of our services, make sure you contact Kirkfield Equestrian Centre and a member of our riding school in Mansfield will be happy to help with any enquiry that you may have.
